About :

My name is Hannah Palma, and I am the human behind Hannah Palma Ceramics & Sacred Vessel Meditation. It is my practice of both simultaneously that work together for endless creation & inspiration.

Ceramics

I live on the shores of Lake Superior, and can see the lake from my wheel. I strive to see my making time as a spiritual practice, as I use ceramics to document moments in nature that have changed me, collectively us, and aim to bring our souls closer to hope & wonder. I take my conceptual thoughts and experiences and translate them into minimal stamp designs that then serve as visual symbols to signify something much deeper.

I layer glazes one on top of the other to create skylines and atmospheres for the stamp images to come to life, and to evoke a feeling or mood. Some pots feel like storms are brewing, others feel calm and peaceful as a moon rises out of the lake at dusk.

My intention is to create organic vessels, made one by one, that are filled with a genuine earth energy and transcend their aesthetic beauty.

Meditation

My personal meditation practice started over a decade ago, but last year I went through a rocky period. Energetically I needed a major reset, and a way to navigate dark waters.

I turned to meditation, and it healed me. I took a deep dive into a meditation certification in order to deepen my practice, and it led me on a path of becoming a meditation guide. It felt like an organic next step, and Sacred Vessel was born.

I have since been writing and leading live meditations at my local town hall, and am on the verge of releasing recorded meditations available for download, as well as one-on-one meditation coaching. My aim is to help others build a consistent meditation practice that will support them in all the assembling and crumbling that happens during the course of life.

We are sacred vessels of body, mind, and bones, and I hope that Sacred vessel is a safe place to process and build connection as we walk down the path of healing towards ourselves.
